Who it's for

Visitor levy for hostels

High volume, low nightly rates and bed-by-bed occupancy. A percentage levy on hundreds of small bookings needs to be right the first time.

What actually trips people up

  • Thousands of short bookings per quarter — imported and calculated in your browser in seconds.
  • Dorm beds sold individually still each attract the levy on their own accommodation charge.
  • Small nightly rates make rounding and rate anomalies easy to miss; we flag outliers before you file.
  • Group bookings across multiple beds are checked for duplicate and overlapping entries.

What it costs

One unit per account is free forever — after that it's £0.35 per bed per month, dropping to £0.28 above 50 beds. Quarterly saves 10%, annual gives two months free.

See it worked through

A group of 4 friends books 4 beds in an 8-bed dorm, 3 nights each at £25 per bed per night.

  1. Per-bed accommodation charge (3 nights × £25)

    £75.00 per bed
  2. Levy per bed (5%)

    £3.75 per bed
  3. Total across 4 beds

    £15.00

Each bed is recorded and levied individually, even within one group reservation — which also makes it easy to catch duplicate or overlapping bed bookings before you file.
